Pittwater Council at the Council Meeting 15 December 2014 is to vote on placing on Public Exhibition a parcel of Public Park Land 5044 square metres in area known as "LOT 3" to be sold off to developers. See Link

In addition it would seem the Council may start selling off other areas of "Local Public Parks" as well for housing.

Besides the parks in the photos I have found other Mona Vale Parks which have had their play equipment years ago and are basically vacant. The concern is that Pittwater Council has a secret agenda to sell of vacant parks. The tactic is to first remove the equipment. Apparently Council looks at the ground around the equipment and determines that if the ground is not heavily trodden on then the park does not receive high volume use. How about that for a rule of thumb? I for one will be raising this again.
