HOW CAN THIS BE ?
This week’s discovery about Pittwater Council’s new Bungan Lane car park at Mona Vale costing in excess of $7.3 million plus land cost is that there are “NO PUBLIC TOILETS” in this brand new public building.
At the Pittwater Council meeting 3 November 2014 Mayor Jacqueline Townsend stated, “We are the Decision Makers” while debating the Fine Dining arrangements at the new Avalon Surf Club.
Back in Mona Vale, using the pedestrian crossings as one must legally do there will be a 900 metres round trip from the new Council car park to the nearest public toilets at the rear of the Memorial Hall in Village Park.
The Red Line indicates the 900 metre Return Trip
"The Decision Makers” should ask the builder to leave his Port a Loo’s on site.
Then at least this new Pittwater Council building’s toileting problems would be solved.
